New fresh month. Mmmmmm i cannot wait. Been a green month but has been swingy for me running horrible in terms of EV, but at least its not a losing month and seeing as ive jumped to 50nl early BR wise im very happy.

Im still auto piloting too much and im not happy with this so am going to do a challenege this month. a challenge that isnt hand volume related for the first time.

I wanna play 2tables at all times (3 max but must be superfish for me to "have" to sit" lol) I want to concentrate more on hand reading, ranges, EV, player tendancies game flow etc etc etc... i dont do this enough auto piloting. Yes my game is winning me money at the moment but im not sure if its getting better at the rate im hoping for if at all. So all this month im gonna try and just 2table. 3very max as i have been 6-8.

Also got a checklist from steve and have adjusted it and want to carry that out this month. that includes better session reviews, and more regular reviews, no hero stat checking, More posting hands target on various forums, reply to hands weekly target and a few other things.

A game month coming up baby!!!!!

50NL so far

As you can see the first 2k hands i was playing well and generally doing well. next 1700 hands i lost 4BI and was getting prepared to drop back to 25NL.. i defo tightened up, became more passive and went into call down mode. Alot of my call downs were correct as it happens, but obv opponent outdrew me on the river several times. Since then its been up and down and quite swingy.

This is down to a number of reasons and im still adjusting to the added aggression here. finding it hard to adjust quite as quickly as i did to 10NL and 25NL but im getting there.

Going to get a coach within the next couple of weeks and really start to get my game going as i think ive only been giving it about 30% of what i could as i was crushing 10+25nl and stopped working on my game as much :(

anyway im chatting shit now just wanted to give a quick update for the couple of people that contacted me since moving to 50NL

Bankroll wise i shouldnt be doing this. But am playing well at the moment and been very solid at 25NL. Again i prob shouldnt be moving up so quickly. But im feeling good. I wouldnt say im playing my best and still getting used to the extra aggression. even if it is spaz aggression!!!! But a few things are falling into place shall we say and aslong as im sensible i cant see this being a problem. However a 5BI stop loss limit will make me drop to 25NL.

That aint happening though :D

just thought id let you know im still alive :) 1 fishy still at the tables.

didnt manage to get alot of hands in last month, but when i did i ran like shit. Today was the same. i thought to myself new month new start.. ended up down 3buy ins and should have been up 3 buy ins.. but hey nevermind... shit happens. gives me something to come back from and target the rest of the month..

steve im gonna be on ur forum alot more this month now im at a sensible limit to post hands lol, wanna get in a really high amount this month.

Fuck it..... im going to take an early shot at this im terms of BR management but i know i can beat 10NL and 25NL for that matter. Will try and get a update this week at some point

halfway update

so we are halfway through the month so i thought i would post my hands to date.
finally a silverstar at stars. lol what a joke. need to get to 25nl asap. I have really messed this month up and i have thrown away ev on silly calls and played very poorly.

STARS

all last month's hands ive been playing over at party. Running well and playing well.

So i ship a little to Stars as the party tables are really shit in the mornings UK time. and i find myself not playing as they are overloaded with tags. Stars have juicy tables 24/7 for me so it made since to ship a few buy ins over there as my hand numbers were low because of this time difference and times were i couldnt find a good table.

Now Steve will know ive never run well over at stars (maybe doomswitch as i was caught datamining there ages ago) none the less i sat down and tried again.



yup you guessed it riverstars was back to its old tricks. based on AI on flops i should have been 3BI up.. got a little disheartened and also throught the blog curse was pulling my pants down aswell. went through HM and really studied the hands. no real major mistakes and certainly not to the point of -5BI,

Took a break and watched tubasteves road to robusto series. only watched EP1, returned an hour later and this happened.....



glad to be back in the green but stars really does treat me like its whore. Rant over..... im gonna watch EP2 now and crush again in a an hour or 2...

like stars new FPP system BTW, steve how did you once work out what the rake EQ was??? let me know please.
